GameLife 1-2-3 God-Sized Vision

2,000,000,000 Children Annually

A God-Sized Vision

A God-sized vision is a vision that only God can fulfill.  Our responsibility and our role is simply to abide in Christ, John 15, trusting Christ to bear the fruit, and to yield to Christ, Galatians 2:20, allowing Christ Jesus to live his life through us.

The Mustard Seed and Leaven: Matthew 13:31-33

31 He put another parable before them, saying,
“The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.

32 It is the smallest of all seeds,
but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

33 He told them another parable.
“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven
that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour,
till it was all leavened.”

Church planting for taller people uses the illustration of yeast.  Zúme is the Greek word for “yeast.” Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of God is like a woman who took a small amount of “zúme” and put into a great amount of dough. As she worked the yeast into the mix, it spread until all of the dough was leavened.  www.ZumeProject.com

Church planting for smaller people uses the illustration of a mustard seed becoming a tree.  Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of God is like a man who took the smallest seed and sowed it into a field. When it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree for nourishment and shelter.  www.GameLife123.com

Jesus was showing us that an ordinary person can take something very small and use it to make an impact that’s very big! Our prayer is to do what Jesus said — to help ordinary people around the world use small tools to make a big impact in God’s kingdom!

What would happen if each family and each church wholeheartedly obeyed God’s command in Deuteronomy 6:5-7?

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:5-7

…you shall teach them diligently to your children…

Diligently: characterized by steady, earnest, and energetic effort.  Having or showing care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties.

If each generation would focus on teaching the children to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might” Each and every generation would be stronger and more mature in Christ than the previous generation.

Sadly the majority of Christian Ministry is chasing after hard-hearted adults, if the majority of Christian ministry was focused on God’s command:

  1. love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart

  2. You shall teach them diligently to your children…

there would be far fewer hard-hearted adults to chase after.  Think about that for a moment.

If we reached this generation of children,
there would be fewer hard-hearted adults next generation.
If we did this each and every generation
then we would fulfill
the “Great Commandment” in Mark 12:30 (a quote from Deuteronomy 6:5)
and the “Great Commission” in Matthew 28:18-20

... 2,000,000,000 Children are waiting ... possibly one of those children is waiting for YOU ...

Please join believers around the world setting aside every Monday as a day to fast & pray asking God to raise up more laborers to reach two billion children. We have all heard Jesus' "Great Command" yet many do not know the quoted text is from Deuteronomy 6. Read verses 5-7 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
