Congratulations on graduating to Step 2. Let’s Review, again…
Each step in this four step training will require a step of faith and obedience.
The steps start easy at first then become more challenging.
Step One: Share with “3 People”
Step Two: Lead at “My Church”
Step Three: Train a “Neighbor’s Church”
Step Four: Plant a “New Church”
Our prayer for you. May you die to self, yield to Jesus, learn to constantly abide in Christ, thus allowing Jesus to bear much fruit through your “living sacrifice” life (Romans 12:1, Galatians 2:20, John 15:5).
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and acceptable to God,
which is your spiritual worship.
One might sacrifice their life by running onto a road filled with speeding cars to rescue a child,
but God is asking for a much greater sacrifice! To live every moment, every day as a “living sacrifice.”
There is only one man that ever lived such a life. Jesus. Jesus died on the cross and in His mercy he also took your old life and crucified it on the cross. When Jesus rose in the resurrection you also rose with a new life. The life of Christ within!
I have been crucified with Christ.
It is no longer I who live,
but Christ who lives in me.
And the life I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.
How does one live their life as a living sacrifice? And, as one already crucified?
Yield to Jesus, Abide in Jesus, and believe with great hope and expectation that
Jesus will bear abundant fruit through your yielded life!
I am the vine;
you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me and I in him,
he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing.
These are the true words of God,
in your life, and
in your ministry
God’s word shall accomplish God’s purpose
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
